2-Liter Water Bottle Rocket Launchers for Sale

2-liter Water Bottle Rocket Launch Video #1 (1-Meg MPG)

These rocket launchers are relatively safe.  When used to launch 2-liter plastic bottles, some danger is possible.  See the warnings at the bottom of this page.

Both launchers have similar launching characteristics.  The difference is the size of the PVC pipe used to make the launcher frame.  The Launcher-75 is lighter (3/4" pipe), while the Launcher-100 is more rugged (1" PVC pipe).  Each launcher is about 4 feet tall.  For taller users, insert the  extension accessory which increases the height to about 5 feet.  Both launchers disassemble for easy transportation and storage.  See the easy assembly steps by downloading the Launcher Assembly Instructions.

In addition to purchasing the launchers, you will need to supply an air pump (standard tire pump), 2-liter bottles, and rocket fuel (water).  You will probably want to obtain a plastic 5 gallon bucket to carry rocket fuel to the launch site.  See the main page videos and pictures for hints on filling and launching your rockets.

Launcher-75

• The Launcher-75 is built with light weight 3/4" PVC frame hardware and has a 40" hand grip height.  The launch tube is 1/2" PVC pipe, which fits into the neck of plastic 2-liter soft drink bottles.  This is the basic launcher for kids from ages 8 to 80.   The launcher is about 4 feet tall, and includes a 10" base extension for Taller users.

• The Launcher-100 is built with heavier duty 1" PVC frame hardware and has a 40" hand grip height.  The launch tube is 1/2" PVC pipe, which fits into the neck of plastic 2-liter soft drink bottles.  This launcher is stronger (and heavier) than the Launcher-75, but is also for kids from ages 8 to 80.   The launcher is about 4 feet tall, and includes a 10" base extension for Taller users.

Safety Notice:
These launchers are basically safe.  The biggest hazard is the empty 2-liter plastic bottle falling from the sky.  Other dangers include (but are not limited to):
Tripping while trying to catch falling rockets, sunburn while having too much fun in the sun, death while running in front of moving vehicle (while trying to catch falling rockets), freezing to death while having too much fun in the winter, and bee stings.  Parental guidance is suggested.  Always shoot the rockets straight up.  Don't be stupid.
